We take the requirements of data protection and data security of your personal data very seriously. In order to create the highest level of transparency, we explain below which data we collect during your visit to our website and how it is used.

No obligation to provide data

Data collection and use for contract processing and when opening a customer account

We collect personal data if you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order, when you contact us (e.g. using the contact form or email) or when you open a customer account. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process contracts and your inquiries. After the contract has been fully processed or your customer account has been deleted, your data will be blocked for further use and deleted after the tax and commercial retention periods have expired, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond that is permitted by law and about which we will inform you below. The deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or using a function provided in the customer account.

The processing carried out for this purpose is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c) GDPR in conjunction with § 147 AO and 257 HGB.

Payment processing in the online shop

For payment processing in our online shop, we use payment service providers to whom you provide your data directly. The payment providers will inform you about the processing of the data themselves.

1. Paypal

As a payment service provider, we use i.a. PayPal, a service of PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. If you choose PayPal to process your payment, we will send the email address you provided to us during the ordering process to complete your order. The subsequent payment process takes place exclusively via PayPal, without us having any further influence on it. PayPal will inform you separately about the collection, processing and storage of your data that takes place there. 2. Klarna

If you choose Klarna's payment services, we ask for your consent that we may transmit the data necessary for processing the payment and an identity and credit check to Klarna. In Germany, the credit agencies named in Klarna's data protection declaration can be used for identity and credit checks. You can revoke your consent to this use of personal data from Klarna at any time.

3. Shopify

In addition, our shop service provider Shopify (more on this under Recipients) stores your payment data such as credit card information on our behalf. This data is encrypted by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). and are only stored for as long as is necessary to fully process your purchase. This data is then deleted. The legal basis for processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process and use personal data only insofar as they are necessary for the establishment, content or change of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. We collect, process and use personal data on the use of our website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill.

The customer data collected will be deleted after the order has been completed or the business relationship has ended. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Data transfer when concluding a contract for online shops, dealers and dispatch of goods

Recipient of the data

1. General recipients
Within our company, the departments that are responsible for processing the concerns have access to your data. In addition, we use external service providers if we cannot or cannot reasonably perform services ourselves. These external service providers are primarily providers of IT services and telecommunications services.

A transfer to third countries does not take place. If this is the case in exceptional cases, we will point this out to you separately in this declaration.

2. Shopify
To offer our online shop, we use the service of Shopify Inc. including the kit service (hereinafter: Shopify). All the data that you provide in our online shop is processed by Shopify on our behalf in order to provide you with the services of the online shop, which also includes the support and execution of orders, authentication and payment processing.
